Meet Jonna.
“The body is not a problem to be solved. It’s a place to live well — and I want every woman to feel at home in hers.”
I am a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES 3.0), trained through Core Exercise Solutions under Dr. Sarah Ellis Duvall, PT, DPT, CPT. The work I teach is rooted in physical-therapy-informed corrective exercise — breath, alignment, and the deep stabilizing systems most fitness work skips over.
I came to this work the way many women do: through my own body. Pregnancy, postpartum, the slow climb back to feeling strong. What I found along the way changed how I understood movement entirely, and I trained because I wanted other women to have a teacher I wished I had had.
My practice sits in Rolla, Missouri — rural Mid-Missouri, where good local resources for perinatal corrective work are still rare. I see clients here in person, and I work with women across the country through custom written programming and live video coaching. The internet has been a kindness to a rural specialist.
I believe in body literacy: that every woman deserves to understand how her own breath, core, and pelvic floor work, and that strength built on understanding lasts decades longer than strength built on someone else’s rules. That is what I teach.
The work behind the work.
